Nikki the illustrator
Nikki Johnstone is a designer, illustrator and new Mum to little baby Milo.
Originally from Sydney, Nikki’s small family recently relocated to leafy Tasmania, which has further inspired her work. Bringing to life imaginary miniature worlds set within familiar domesticity, hidden places where tiny characters explore, meeting friendly little monsters, the house cat or local native birds in the backyard.
Nikki has studied extensively in visual arts and digital media. As a natural progression she likes to work across mediums, and her final pieces are often the culmination of drawings, collages and digital design.
